Music Video Race
Some of the Bay Area’s most buzzworthy bands were paired with the best filmmakers around to create brand new music videos in just 48 hours. Indie rock, garage, folk, metal, and hip-hop are just a few of the genres represented. Filmmaking teams include some of the bravest and best up-and-coming talent in the Bay Area. Check out the explosive results on July 20th at the Music Video Race Premier at The Independent.
Rin Tin Tiger
Rin Tin Tiger
Rin Tin Tiger is an alternative folk trio from San Francisco, CA. Comprised of brothers Kevin (songwriting, vocals, guitar) and Sean E. (bass, vocals) Sullivan, with Andrew Skewes-Cox on drums and additional vocals. The music carries an emphasis on lyrics, organic musicianship, and raw energy -- showing traces of Bob Dylan, Nick Drake, Tupac and Morrissey while retaining a sound that is contemporary in an electronic-drenched world. They have spread their sound across the Bay Area and beyond; from small cafes and art spaces to well respected venues like Bottom of the Hill, Rickshaw Stop, Cafe Du Nord, The Avalon, and The Blank Club.

In late 2013, Alex Haager and Sierra Frost quit their jobs and escaped their lives in San Francisco and headed north to Portland, Oregon to start Breakup Records. Although they spend nearly every waking hour working with some of their favorite bands, they still found time to create a new project for themselves.
