DENM

DENM first made an impactful splash while dropping his Slum Beach Denny LP- DENM’s sparkling debut album which hit the scene in 2021.  Garnering out of the box recognition from coveted playlists including the cover of Spotify’s “Beach Vibes.” Today, Slum Beach Denny has tallied over 25 million streams, and counting! The genre-bending, SoCal musician, songwriter, and producer blends a unique recipe of hazy daze optimism and suburban beach influence into a modern-day melting pot of hip-hop beats, dubby rhythms, and catchy vocal hooks with a bonafide street mentality.   DENM possesses the edge and wit of an artist aware of the realities of society, while addressing his own personal values and tongue in cheek commentary on the quest for the American Dream.

Quickly and deservedly, he’s become a coveted, go-to producer amongst his core constituents, helming the Grammy-winning Best Reggae Album of 2022, SOJA’s Beauty in the Silence, as well as a co-write and production on HIRIE’s top-scoring single, “Respect,” plus his high flight collaboration on “Rage,” with Dirty Heads, Travis Barker, and The Interrupters.  DENM also flexes his production skill set on out of the box Bounce phenom Big Freedia on the song “Strut.

DENM’s 2nd release Slum Beach Posse Vol. 1, a seven-song collaborative EP with special guests Slightly Stoopid, Landon McNamara, Jesse James, and Benny Ranks, dropped in 2023 spawning the unmistakable single “Wild Trip” recorded during a surf and studio bender on Oahu’s North Shore with creative conspirator and big wave surfing legend Landon McNamara.”

DENM’s music has commanded notable synchs on several hit series, including Netflix’s Outer Banks, and All-American, and FOX’s Rescue: HI-Surf, and Prime’s Surf Girls Hawai’i. All of this comes ahead of a series of new singles preceding his forthcoming sophomore LP and a U.S. tour that has DENM hitting over 30 outdoor amphitheaters with likeminded cohorts, Pepper and Iration on the ‘Daytrippin in Paradise Summer Tour.’

“It’s all becoming more of what I had originally envisioned,” DENM says.  “Everything is manifesting into part of this really cool trajectory to take the listener to places that I like to go.”

Denm has been known to create music in unique places, from Hawaii’s North Shore paradise of Oahu, hanging with Landon McNamara and friends, making music with the Slum Beach Posse between surf sets, or in the urban low-rider landscape of B-REAL from CYPRESS HILL’s Smoke-box studios in the alleys of Downtown Los Angeles. You may also find him behind the board and microphone at Rock Mafia Studios, with producers, Tim James and Antonina Armato, down the coast in Santa Monica, CA or in the Pacific, on a fishing boat drinking brews and writing tunes with Pepper’s Kaleo Wassman, such as the new album’s first single “Where I’m Going.”  Places where days-long, beats-making all-nighters in the studio are routine.  And where autobiographical references in his songwriting, reflecting, if not celebrating the seedier side of life, are the standard.

My songs are about healing from past traumas.  Coming of age.  Honest songs about struggles with addiction.  Songs about tweakers walking down the street really fast.  The highs and lows of life, and love, and fatherhood,” DENM says.  “Also, just being a mouthpiece for art and my surroundings, with songs about mental health, and the struggle to keep your vision clear and your head straight.  It’s a little bit of everything.”

DENM spent his youth as an admittedly troubled teen bouncing from beach town to beach town in Southern California, teaching himself guitar at 14.  His itinerant residencies in San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Isla Vista marked a challenging personal narrative full of life’s harshest lessons.  They also fostered deeply genuine and eclectic sources of inspiration for his multifaceted talents.

Whether it’s crafting his own scintillating repertoire, or collaborating with a host of admiring peers like Slightly Stoopid, Dirty Heads and SOJA, DENM brings a relentless, undeniable vibe of authenticity to his work.  Just three short years since his debut, he has risen to the upper tier of the SoCal scene, volleying his time between sought-after producer and songwriter, cutting edge recording artist, and magnetic live performer.  Now, he just wants to keep rolling.

“I want to make music that makes the world move and groove,” says DENM. “If I just stay in that flow state, it’s only going to get better and more fun from here.”

Evening Elephants

Delivering irresistible pop hooks with the intensity of a punk band, Evening Elephants cements the creative union of North Carolina-born vocalist and songwriter Sam Boggs and Southern California native and hip-hop producer and drummer Brandon “B” Leslie.

In the midst of their own individual music careers, their respective paths first crossed at an illegal Los Angeles backyard party in 2021.  The boys shared a love of two things.  Music.  + Cigarettes.  They plotted a jam session within weeks of meeting, adopted the name Evening Elephants (inspired by Naruto), and started throwing backyard showcases in the same backyard they met in.

OnesToWatch chronicled one of those first gigs and showed early support. INKED also raved, “With a lust for life and passion for bringing people together, Evening Elephants’ infectious grooves aren’t stopping anytime soon,” while The Luna Collective hailed their “on-brand brutal honesty.”

In 2022, Evening Elephants gained momentum with the Evening Demos EP followed by the signature single “Life Is Swell” and the standout “Snow On The Bluff,” produced by PJ Bianco (Imagine Dragons, Jonas Brothers) garnering over 25 million streams. Simultaneously, they built an audience one fan at a time with a fluid and fiery sound, peppering sunny melodies and idiosyncratic instrumentation with the kind of truths typically reserved for diaries.

Evening Elephants recently took their signature backyard party vibes beyond Los Angeles—shutting down an entire street in New York City for a pop-up that drew over 1,000 people. They don’t just play shows; they throw unforgettable parties.

Selling out shows for party chasers and “Modelo Tasters” across the United States—from Los Angeles at the iconic Troubadour, to San Diego’s Juneshine Distillery, San Francisco, Denver’s historic Bluebird Theatre, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, and North Carolina.  Including their first major festival, AEG’s Electric Forest, which drew a crowd of over 4,000 people.

For those afraid to leave their house, the band also landed their first major placement on EA Sports’ NHL soundtrack with their first official Republic Records release titled “Dead or Alive".

Given the palpable buzz and the level of cult adoration surrounding the band, the Evening Elephants signed to Republic Records and are set to release their debut album and much more in 2025.

Obed Padilla

Watching his pastor father “plant churches” throughout his childhood, worship was the catalyst to Obed’s deep love of music. In his early twenties, he fell into making music through a Craigslist ad. A gig playing guitar in the band for a Christian summer camp led to producing locally in his hometown of Oceanside, garnering viral attention for his captivating storytelling in his songs “Brown & Down Freestyle” and “Chicano Poetry.”

Since then, Obed has surpassed 5 million Spotify streams and earned over 1 million likes on TikTok. In 2024, Obed was featured in BMI’s Latin Spotlight and made his debut performance at Austin City Limits. In 2025, Obed performed at SXSW, Dreamville Festival, Bayfest, and more.

Obed released his debut EP Do You Still Love Me? in October 2025, marking a new chapter in his sound and storytelling, with more releases planned for 2026. Now residing between Oceanside and Los Angeles, he continues to bridge his new life with his deep roots at home, cementing himself as an innovator in the Latin Alternative space.
