Sweet Plot
The fun and the funk never stop when it comes to Sweet Plot. Born out of a late night bay area jam session in 2014, Sweet Plot’s musical direction has continued to grow but its members ethos remains the same; to bring an unforgettable musical party where ever they roam. With its music steeped in the funk, soul and rock sounds of the sixties and seventies, the band brings a modern twist to a tried and true formula. It isn’t a question of if you will, but of how hard you will hit the dance floor when Sweet Plot hits the stage. Hailing from San Francisco, Sweet Plot has not slowed down since hitting the ground running, releasing three full length albums in the last three years with a fourth slated for release on January 10th 2020.
The Humidors
Having shared the stage with acts such as Dumpstaphunk, The New Mastersounds, The Meters' Leo Nocentelli, Shuggie Otis, and the late, great Bernie Worrell, The Humidors are in their element on stage and in the studio. Bursts and washes of B3, punchy horns, chugging percussion, thumping bass, and burning guitar leads all interweave in an infectious poly-rhythmic stew.  This band of troubadours has developed a sound that pulls from a melting pot of old-school and modern influences, yet is always rooted in a commitment to ego-less playing that embraces the ensemble approach to funk. So click the order now button below to and see why critics are calling this one of the funkiest new acts to come out of the Bay Area!
Pamela Parker’s Fantastic Machine
Pamela Parker conjures sonic alchemy, blending soulful vocals with powerful anthems.  “The Fantastic Machine” generates a psychedelic funk current, combining elements from Jimi Hendrix, P-Funk, and Janis Joplin. Pamela duels on guitar with Tom Finch (Big Brother & The Holding Company) while blending perfectly with angelic vocalists Amber Fitzgerald and Alyssa Rodrigues. Ryan Hickey lights the fuse on keys, and drummer Chris McGrew brings the explosive groove.  Rich Armstrong (Cold Blood, Boz Scaggs) on trumpet and Chris Hoogeroff (Afrolicious) on saxes fill out the epic sound.  On bass we have special guest Uriah Duffy (Prince, Sly & the Family Stone, Lyrics Born). The band’s live and studio engineer, Jaimeson Durr has worked with legends Sammy Hagar and Jason Bonham, among others. This band is a force of nature that makes your heart swell and your fist pump.
