Deca Joins debuted in 2017 with Bathroom, an album that distilled the quiet melancholy of a younger generation into fluid, understated melodies. Blending poetic lyricism with a sense of modern decadence, the band explores inner conflict through introspective songwriting and atmospheric soundscapes.

Shaped by themes of love, loss, and self-reflection, Bathroom captured fragmented emotional moments with striking clarity. Its melancholic tone, coupled with sharp self-awareness and reflections on reality, quickly earned Deca Joins recognition within the independent music scene.

Continuing to evolve through live performance and artistic experimentation, Deca Joins has since refined a sound that bridges the poetic tradition of Mandarin songwriting with a broad, universal appeal. The release of the EP Go Slow (2018) and the single “霧散去的時候” (2019) marked a turning point in the band’s musical maturity.

In 2020, Deca Joins composed and arranged “或是一首歌 (A Song For You)” for renowned Taiwanese artist Hebe Tien. Later that year, they released their second full-length album, Bird and Reflections, followed by a nationwide tour that sold out across seven cities. The album earned the band a nomination for Best Band at the 32nd Golden Melody Awards, solidifying their standing in the contemporary music landscape.

Since their formation, Deca Joins has translated introspection into melody and rhythm, bringing their distinctive musical voice to audiences worldwide. With performances in over 25 cities and numerous sold-out shows, the band continues to craft a singular musical language—one that reflects their perspective on life, their understanding of the world, and an ongoing journey of self-exploration.
