Both FOH Audio and Lighting are located in an elevated 15′ x 9′ “crows nest” accessible via the VIP mezzanine. This private tech space is 9 feet above the main floor, positioned between Left and Right Mains and approximately 50′ from the Down Stage Edge.

SPL POLICY
The Independent is located in the highly residential Alamo Square neighborhood. The city has given us an internal SPL limit of 117 dbC, measured on the ground floor under the sound board. This limit will be enforced by our staff and is non-negotiable.
Power
The Independent has three-phase power running into the club. Audio and lights will be on separate, isolated legs.
