Catherine Moan is the time-bending electronic synth pop project from Los Angeles based artist Angel Jefferson. Her work, often produced in isolation, is melancholic yet optimistic electro-pop about being queer in America. Catherine Moan projects a unique blend of 80s new wave, 00s synth pop, and contemporary electronic dance music. And with witty, intimate lyrics, she sets a dark but cheeky tone. In 2021 she released her debut album Chain Reaction and has since released a handful of singles. With her sophomore album on the way, she is now touring and playing shows.
