Tauwoo is an Oakland-based songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist. Through his creative practice he explores the vulnerability and fragility of the human spirit as a way of connecting the deeply personal with the universal, and the grief of the natural world.

His work draws inspiration from artists like Radiohead, Burial, James Blake, and Patrick Watson.

As an electronic trio he is joined by Patrick Aguirre on drums and James Jackson on synths, bringing a hard hitting, house driven, and theatric live music experience.

His new album “Disquiet,” produced by Patrick Aguirre explores the many facets of the human condition, and the intricate emotions we sometimes struggle to find words for.

Tauwoo is the former vocalist of Eyes on the Shore, and is credited on Grammy winning and nominated albums.
