Scott Weiland
Scott Weiland

Rocketing to the forefront of the music world in 1992, Scott Weiland has become one of the music world's most highly-respected and prolific artists. As the front man for Stone Temple Pilots, Weiland has remained a dominant force in rock music since the group's inception. Now, with his sophomore solo release, Weiland proves that his music and song-writing is as potent and powerful as ever.

HAPPY IN GALOSHES, produced by Scott Weiland and Doug Grean (Velvet Revolver, Sheryl Crow, Crystal Method), with select tracks recorded by Steve Albini, features a collection of songs that bring a revitalizing sound to Weiland's highly praised and unique musical style.

Look for Scott Weiland’s memoir, Not Dead & Not For Sale, available May 17th 2011 wherever books are sold.

"MK4 are song architects of the soundtrack to love and loss in the 21st century." KIM FOWLEY (Producer/Writer for The Runaways, Sonic Youth, The Byrds)

MK4 are a three piece pop rock band out of San Francisco California. Drummer Paul Roybal and Bassist/Singer Britt Pennella have been playing together in bands for ten years and have shared stages with bands such as Train and The Donnas as well as having had their music placed in T.V. shows such as The Showtime series Californication. Guitarist Danny Nolan was actually the photographer for their past projects before joining MK4 as a band member. He still continues to shoot the bands photo's using a timer on his camera . All the photo's for Mistake's Were Made (MK4's debut) were shot by Danny and the other two band members only. At eighteen years old, Britt was put through vigorous song-writing training by Kim Fowley as well as Bruce Springsteen Born In The U.S.A. producer Chuck Plotkin.

Mistakes Were Made was produced by current Smashing Pumpkin's guitarist Je! Schroeder as well as Black Rebel Motor Cycle Club producer Rick Parker. Stone Temple Pilots/Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland lent them his studio Lavish Recording to record drums for the album.
Think Weezer, Soul Coughing, Foo Fighters as far as bands to compare them too though lyrically singer songwriter Britt Pennella said that modern records by Kanye West, Adele, and Eminem's Recovery spoke more lyrically to him while writing the album than any current rock music.

Outside of the band Danny is a photographer/Graphics Designer,Paul works at Lucky Brand Jeans where he has fitted everyone from Tom Waits to Depeche Mode and Britt is a DJ as well as a music teacher to grades K-8 at Saint John School, in El Cerrito Ca.

The main point to MK4 is the songs and the way they relate to the human experience and how up and down it can be. 'Songs give me a chance to speak in a stranger in a way that would not be nearly as easy in conversation. It's easier to admit and expose your warts through music. Through music we all connect and can try to make sense of life, love and the pursuit of (sometimes) madness." Britt Pennella/MK4
